well I'm just curious why u pick your screen name whats the reason ?
well for me I couldnt really think of one so I just use ricecook becasue I like rice and cook it..

Well there's not been one of these since November 2005, so I'll chip in.

I'm tall, and my name's Andy.

since 7th grade wanted to go to duke and 85 is my birth year

since then i realized i could get just as good an edu staying instate for far less money at a school where engineering dept is well known

however i did apply for the sake of it and got in

I was tired of people using the same screen names and thus not being able to use them anymore. So I just typed blindly and that's what came out. :D
 
at the time of joining i was listerning to soundgarden and at the time my fave song was playing spoon man so i thought thats good for me :D
 
I'm zephead because my head is filled with Led Zeppelin (and so is my sig). Thus zep + head = zephead. And I didn't capitalize it because I didn't feel like it. ;)
 
started folding as '4JNA' after my younger and only sister passed away from ***** leukemia.

after finding the macrumors 'folding' forum, signed up with the same name, '4JNA' which was 'for Joan Nicole Anderson'.

i miss my sister. :(:mad:
 
Ragged as a play because I'm actually mega ultra rich and (used to) like fashion and junk. Jimmi because it sounded better with Ragged than James :)
 
Ummm So....

My dad is a stand up comic as well as a computer engineer (yea, lots of hilarity in my house growing up) and he would come home when I was little from a gig or something and I'd want to be all cool like him and at one point he apparently came home and asked "how you doin' buddy?" so of course in little kid fashion I tried to emulate him and walked around and tried to make jokes and then was like "how you doing BUBBY?" because I failed at pronoucing buddy.

From then on I was known as bubby or bubster.

My name is Katy... so KT + Bubster.

Back in the 90s when I was a l33t little AOLer, I chose "yourgod17" as your screenname because I thought it would be funny. Eventually, I realized it's possibly the dumbest screenname I've seen (plus, I'm Atheist which seems to contradict the screennname a bit, doesn't it?). So I just shortened it to yg17 and I guess it's stuck ever since.

The 17 was completely arbitrary, it has no meaning.
