well back in about 1966-1969 Mr. ford asked to buy ferari and they said no. So ford built a car called the gt 40 and the "40" meant the the roof of the car was 40 inches of the ground. anyway, ford built the gt40 to beat ferari in the 24 hour of le mans and they did so four times in a row so thats why my un is gt40x4.

D.I.F.Y = Do It For Yourself

It's more my artist name, and now I used everywere.

It is my middle name which is what I go by, and the numbers were my badge number before I promoted and received a new badge! :)

I pretty much use this username at all the forums I am part of.

Many, many moons ago, in the Before Time (e.g. before there were multiple Star Trek series on the air and we had to wait for movies and we had to play aging VHS copies of The Animated Series, my friends and I were part of a Trek RPG. My favorite character was Captain Ulysses Samuel Murdock, CO of the U.S.S. Hannibal.

CaptMurdock is the name I use for virtual every forum.

One could also derive you are also a fan of LT Barclay from the small role Dwight Schultz played as a crew member on TNG. He also played an army captain known as Howling Mad Murdock from The A Team--which was an equal rank to the pseudo naval rank of Barclay on the Enterprise D star ship in Star Trek. Of course the USS Hannibal is possibly a reference to Hannibal Smith who was the Col. (army rank equivalent to a Navy captain) from the A Team. I find your explanation for your name more fascinating than your name itself....both of Dwights characters were not exactly sane but quite fascinating.

I used an algorithm I made up for letters of the alphabet. It's random but not repeating.

Kidding.

Just an acronym.

It's my DJ name. I always used to use my real name. I used to play a ton of loft parties, up in the loft, so I was always upstairs looking over the crowd. It ended up on a flyer without my knowledge and kinda stuck.

My last year in Southern California was one of the best years of my life to date. I lived about 1.5 miles from the beach and was there every day after work, learned how to surf, worked a second job under the table delivering pizza and had the best friends I've ever had. Start Something by Lostprophets was our theme music. It always seemed to fit the mood. They were my favorite band for a long time after that (until Liberation Transmission was released, actually).

894 was the first three of my cell phone number out there; had to be added because lostprophet was apparently already taken.

OK, ya caught me. The reason that I chose the name "Murdock" for my captain was to go with "Hannibal" which I had already gotten for the name of my ship. I used to love The A-Team. I also loved the character of Barclay from NextGen/Voyager.
