Hi everyone — I’m the developer of Ariava, an Apple Watch independent app for colabrating your coding agents.
I’m curious how many Apple Watch users here also use coding agents or agent harnesses such as Codex, pi, or the DeepSeek harness.
Coding agents can work independently for a while, but they create an attention-management problem. Even when the agent does not need us, we still tend to check the screen to find out whether it has a question, has become blocked, or has finished.
I’m exploring whether Apple Watch can help with that.
The idea behind Ariava is to let the Watch display the event what require human while a coding agent is running.
At a glance, you can see which session needs attention, what state it is in, and its latest activity. That means you can step away from your desk and do something else while the agent works, then decide whether to give the agent some quick guidance by voice or return to your Mac to continue working.
Here is a short demonstration of the current workflow:
Works with pi now. Codex and DeepSeek harness support is coming soon.
