Explosions In motion

For my Film As Literature class I need to make a short movie from a passage from the Book: "the things they carried; How to tell a true war story" And I need to find realistic explosions for motion. Anybody have any motion explosions that would would go with Grenade Exploding or Bombing Run?

There'a a few explosions already in Motion's Pyro category. You can adjust the parameters if necessary to vary the results.

This is cool footage. Not sure if its possible, but I would love to use these explosions in iMovie HD with the right plug-in, say from geethree. If its not possible to use in iMovie, then how about in Final Cut Express?

Final Cut Express you certainly can - It supports compositing of multi video layers. I doubt you could make it work in iMovie regardless of what plug ins you have as it only supports a single video track.
