I've got a co-worker who's not too tech savvy, but he just got an iPhone. At the ATT store they set everything up for him as far as registration, but he's never plugged it into a computer to sync it up with iTunes or anything. Since then (about 2 wks ago) he's put all of his calendar and contact info into the phone, and he's only got it there. He came to me in the past few days asking about what would happen if he lost his phone, his phone broke, or whatever else might happen. What are his options at this point? My thought is that plugging it into iTunes is going to erase the data; is that wrong? Also, how do we get those calendars off of there to sync up with something else that can server as a redundancy? Thanks for any info!
