Export Entourage Calendar to iCal

I've searched the threads and find nothing on this -

How does one export calendar events from Entourage X to iCal?

In iCal go to: 'file' 'import' 'import entourage data'. It takes a while if you have a lot of events to import.

Excellent - thanks. I've been looking all through the HELP files on iCal and couldn't find this. Lots of other HELP, but not this.

I switched from PCs about 9 months ago and was using Entourage because it was "Outlook." But there are a lot of reasons why I'm going to give the Apple applications a whirl. Mostly related to the ease of backing up and sharing calendars on .Mac.

Paul Berkowitz has several scripts designed to let Entourage act more like Outlook and take advantage of Address Book and iCal. They're here.

I haven't had the chance to test most of them yet, though, although I'm planning to.
