In the Depths of the SLC!
Anyone know of a way that I can back up my playlists in iTunes, so if I reinstalled I can jus simply drag them in and they will "just work"? I wanted to do this between my Mac and PC too, so I don't have to re rate all my songs and place them in the right category. I have already tried dragging the iTunes Library from my Windows to my Mac, but it didn't work, unless I did something wrong.

I know you can export it as a text file, but that doesn't really help.
 
Depends on what you want do.

To convert the iTunes xml files to regular m3u, use this link:

However, to save all data (ratings, etc) you'll need to save the library data.

Simply copying the .itl and .xml files from the iTunes folder is enough, provided you keep the music in the exact same disk structure when you restore the backup.
