Hello again all 🙂

I am doing some tech repair for my friend's PowerBook G4. Her hard drive died and had it replaced. She gave me the old one and asked if there is any way for me to pull off her documents and email. The company she went to said it's dead and she would need to go to a data recovery place and spend $$$. I said lemme try first...

Well lo and behold I got her old drive to work - for a minute or two at a time 🙂 I have it hooked up and backed up her files with no issue.

My question is about her email contacts. Is there a way to export that off a drive NOT in a computer? I have it in an external USB hookup, and can access all her files. I assume there is a file somewhere that stores these files but I don't know what/where it is.

Any help would be great. Thanks! (and she thank you VERY much too) 🙂

Well, did she keep them in Address Book? The Address Book data is kept in Application Support in the Home folder's Library. 🙂
