I need to make a Keynote presentation that will have some videos embedded on some slides. The presentation will likely be saved as a Powerpoint and be presented on a Windows computer using Powerpoint.

1. What would be the best file format to export from FCP for this?

2. Anyone know if the video exported from FCP will play within a Powerpoint on a PC after it is saved as a Powerpoint from Keynote?

Thanks.

Exporting to Powerpoint is OK as long as the version on the PC that you play it is compatible. Even so a lot of the builds/transitions in your Keynote may come out different when exported to Powerpoint.

Your videos will play if the PC supports the movie type that you use.

You might be better off exporting from Keynote as a Quicktime file. All your builds/transitions will work, and all you need to worry about is having Quicktime on the PC.
