Ive searched this forum and googled and havent found a similar question.
I have a video file that looks fine when watched in quicktime, it looks fine in imovie and the same after i have finished the clip (added a small transition and cut a few seconds out) but no matter what settings i chose the quality always drops when i export it. I have tried multiple settings but the exported video is always not as sharp as the original.
I had the same problem a few months ago but i got around it by importing the project into fce on another computer and exporting there.
Is this a known issue or is there some setting that i have forgot about?
