exporting in logic express

i just bought it and am having a little trouble exporting a track i made. i didnt do much to it, just cut it and can not figure out how to export. i go to the export option and then try and save it to the desktop but it is not there when i go to find it any help is appreciated.

weird, i turned my computer off came back couple hours later and the file was there
