Exposé Window closing?

Is there no way to close windows in Exposé mode like in dashboard (when pressing the option-key)?

I can't find a way either. I guess you just have to click on the one you want to close to bring it back to the front and then click the close button.

If you are running Snow Leopard, hold down the application's icon in the dock and select "Quit".

That isn't window closing. And to add, I haven't found a way to do this either.
