What kind of cards do you use the slot for? I feel like I should make use of this nifty thing... :)

I have a multi-format memory card reader that lives in mine. Reads most formats apart from CF...

Mobile data card, although now I wish I had a USB one...

I am planning to get an esata card now that I have HDDs that support the standard.

I'm actually not sure: I've had it for a year and a half and it no longer has the manufacturers stickers on it.

I think it's one of these. I think these are re-branded and sold under a lot of names. It reports as

    Silicon Media R/W:

    Version: 4.52
    Bus Power (mA): 500
    Speed: Up to 480 Mb/sec
    Manufacturer: Y-E DATA
    Product ID: 0x0027
    Serial Number: 20060516001A
    Vendor ID: 0x057b

on a USB bus in System Profiler.
