different question

The question WAS a little bit different actually than just, "IS there an expresscard SDHC adaptor?"

It was, IS there one that works?

I had had a LOT of trouble with the various SDHC card adaptors, some brought on crippling kernel panics, others had very poor data throuhgput. I don't remember the chipsets that caused the problem, but there is a longer thread on THIS forum that details it.

In the end, I went with a sandisk branded version, had to do a small firmware update and then it worked fine. I think there is only ONE from them, so it shouldn't be too hard to find.

I've had issues with Express Cards. The ones that worked well were SD.

The Apple Store in Ginza was no help either.

A couple of years ago, I purchased a 16GB SDHC that came with it's own USB reader. I've used it since and haven't looked back.
