    Hi there!

I have a Macbook Pro but 2 usb ports is simply not enough. So I need to get either a usb hub or a expresscard 34 where you can connect more usb devices.

What do people recommend, what would be the better option? Why? How much power am I able to get out of a expresscard? I need at least 2 extra ports.

Do you have any experience with any products and what can you prefer? (maybe a combined usb/firewire400 hub would be great too actually)

    Hope someone can help
    Thanks :)

At work I use a VAKOSS 7 PORT USB 2.0HUB (purchasedfrom Frys). I have this powered with the adapter that came with the unit. I connect a mouse, a label printer, a bar code reader and a EVGA USB to DVI adapter (driving a Dell LCD at 1600 x 1200), and a back-up drive. And as needed I insert Flash Drives and sync cord for my iPhone.

    A very handy device.
