I have been trying to figure out if I can ditch my outboard gear and use Logic's effects to process my bass live. Have any of you done something similar with good success? If so, what gear are you using?
I've heard good reports with RME's MultifaceII expresscard solution. But I'd rather have a sub $500 solution that works. Is firewire fast enough to allow me to process a signal live (in-thru effects- out) in less than 12ms?
