Extended Mode with Macbook + External Monitor

I don't know how to drag Photoshop over to the the External Monitor from the Macbook. I only manage to drag the Photo I am editing, but I don't know how to drag the menu bars and all that...

You do it individually. Then, the next time you open the program, they'll go there by default.

Have you set up your external monitor to be the main monitor for Mac OS X? If not you can in System Preferences>Displays>Arrangement and then drag the Menu bar to the external display. That should set photoshop so it will open on your external display, since it will be your main display.
