Extending Apple Care Plus Past Three Years

Hello,

I purchased my late 2021 MBP16 in February 2022. At that time, I purchased Apple Care Plus on an annual basis. Once 3 years up, can i continue purchasing Apple Care Plus for year 4, year 5, etc.

I been renewing Apple Care on an annual basis after the 3 year plan ran out. I’m on my second annual plan right now.

i stand corrected - i did not know that.
i rarely have kept a Mac longer than 3 years and when i have, i’ve assumed that after 3 years with no hiccups, i have a good one and therefore warranty can lapse.

Yes, you can IF the hardware is eligible. I wasn't sure if my 2020 27" iMac 5k would be eligible for extending AppleCare after my 3 year plan ran out. I spoke to Apple Support about a month before it was going to expire and support told me that my model iMac was on the cutoff point but was eligible. I had to wait until my 3 year plan officially ended and then I was presented with the option to start the annual care plan, which I did.
