Hi All,
I have a garden outhouse which I use to work in. I have a Mesh Child Node in there but the WiFi is still quite flaky.
My main Router Node in the the front room of my house (connected to the ISP Internet). I ran some Cat6A cable that someone gave me under the floorboards & into the next room. I need to extend this into the garden outhouse so I can connect it to the Mesh Child Node there & get stable Internet. The garden outhouse is about 30 metres away from the rear of the house.
I bought some Cat6 cable (as Cat6A was very difficult to terminate into RJ45 plugs) & a Ethernet Cable Joiner. I plan to use this joiner to connect the Cat6A cable to the Cat6 cable & run it all the way to the garden outhouse & would like to ask, if this will work properly or if I am missing something or doing anything incorrectly?
Please see diagram below,
Many Kind Thanks!
