    Hi everyone

I want to extend the range of my existing home network. My ISP is Telus and they provide us with a modem/router in one and it isn't very good.

I searched through some forums and the top picks would be to get an repeater.

However, would buying an Apple airport extreme express base station extend the range of the signal?

It may extend it a little.

The best option if you want to get a greater coverage would be to buy an Extreme (or Time Capsule) and then an Airport Express. You can see the Express up as a repeater and effectively increase the coverage.
