Extension cable for 2016 Macbook Pro 15

As you all know, the 2016 Macbook pro does not come with an extension cable for the power adapter which is from the block to the wall. Has any one purchased an extension cable for the 2016 MBP TB 15? Does the one in apple store work with the 2016 MBP? Link below. Thank you very much.

Yes, thats the one. I find it absolutely unacceptable that they have raised the effective price of the charger that much. I like the new modular system a lot, but now you pay almost 50% more to get the extension cord + charging cable...

Yes, the one linked will work with the power adapter. Alternatively, if you had any extra ones from an old MBP, those are compatible as well.

Thank you guys. I will get one from apple store. I have chatted with apple online specialist, based on what they said the linked cable only work with the mag-safe power adaptor and apple does not have any extension cable available yet for the 2016 Mackbook Pro. Guess they are wrong.
