iPad + Apple Stylus + Controller = my dream event

If they incorporate a stylus or release one that can be attached to the new iPad it could make it a buy.

The thing holding me back on iPad is I do a lot of art and a finger just isn't small enough or accurate enough, just like pretty all stylus's they are too large and inaccurate. If Apple did one it would probably be really good.

Would make sense as they do keep referring to thing as a canvas.

Whoever took those photographs has very poor technical photography skills and/or no image editing skills. I could have produced something far better. For one thing they are underexposed and the white balance is much too warm.

Actually it is a great job regarding the technical skills applied and the lighting conditions.

Whoever wrote this comment sounds like an intro to color photography student. "Oh, hold on you guys gotta make sure the white balance is just right! The only way to print a photo is with completely neutral grays 100% of the time. Add 3Y! Evocation of emotion you say? Golden hour? I'm sorry but I'm only on Chapter 2! But don't worry—I have experience critiquing Apple event snapshots posted to rumor blogs. I'm practically an expert."

Ironically I'm going to be missing this keynote (for the first time since before the original iPhone Keynote) because I was tapped at the last minute to do some event photography at work. Bah! At least I get free food out of it.

Even so I can't wait for this event! Picking up at least an iPad or maybe two for the Mrs. Might sell my retina MBP and get a Mac Pro if the price is right with my EDU discount. Been doing a lot of video editing lately. I'm ecstatic about Mavericks and the new multi-monitor setup too. Lots of good stuff!

Your trolling technique isn't nearly as masterful as mine.

Wait a minute...

That's it !!!! ???

That's the event?? .. Looks like a show box building... The other one was better done .

You gotta hand it to Apple, they REALLY go over-board with unique colours.

No other building would ever be like this :)

I wonder, if they would announce iPad Mini variety of colors like the iPhone 5C? That would be cool. iPad 5 stays with 3 colors, iPad Mini with 3-5 colors. Good to go!

No, just wondering cause it's Apple. They probably charge a premium since they know it is Apple...

Possibly so.. Of course being San Francisco, it's going to be top dollar anyway. I wonder if San Francisco will continue to host these events or if everything will migrate to the ring when that's complete?

Shouldn't that be "whomever"?
No.

Usage of whomever and whoever

I king of disagree with you. To me it's obvious that the picture has been taken with a low-grade camera which produces more saturated colours, like an iPhone, or a compact camera. At any rate, the shot has been saved into JPG file and not RAW file. Therefore, the possibilities for image manipulations are limited. Besides, having such a photograph is better than having no photograph at all.

There's no way the "warm" color could be due to the golden hour sunrise/sunset... :p

Nope, every picture must look like it was taken in a lightbox, including buildings! haha To hell with the natural warm color of the sunset :)

I'm sure Apple negotiates them down to the bone. I can't speak for this particular arrangement but I know details of similar deals which are typically done as multi year packages to get the lowest possible rate.

FYI, those photos were taken with an iPhone 5 so all the settings were probably automatic.
