Well, the thing is I usually use at least 2 DVD burner before with my desktop, but now I only have a MacBook with 1 superdrive. I want to have another burner to copy DVD directly from MacBook SuperDrive. Finally, I'd prefer an external DVD burner use FireWire port, because MacBook only has 2 USB port which I already use for external hard drives, while I haven't touch the FireWire port yet
any recommendation?🙂

Yes, an external FireWire DVD burner. 😛

Also, if those hard drives have FW ports, use them. You can daisy chain quite a few things on a single port.

I have an older model of the LaCie d2 with my MacBook. It has both USB and FireWire and works like a champ.

I have a much older Pioneer DVD burner, firewire only, that works fine with my MB. I got it a couple of years ago to use with my Sawtooth that only has the DVD player in it.
