If text on a 22-23" display is "too small" for you, perhaps it's time to consider a 27" display.
Or even a 30-32"…

I will try buying a 24" 4k monitor and running it in 1920x1080. o_O

You have a few options at 24" (23.6") for 4k.

Dell P2415Q
Samsung U24E850R
Samsung U24E590D
ASUS MG24UQ
LG 24UD58
BenQ BL2420U

The difference between them are some have USB hubs and price. I believe all have HDMI 2.0 (except Dell) to run 60Hz if you're hooking up a PS4 Pro.

Dell is the most expensive and lacks HDMI 2.0. They have an average aesthetic.
