External display for macbook pro - cheap AND good?

I've got some crazy back-and-neck problems from working on my 15" MacBook Pro. I need an external monitor that sits up higher. Thing is, I really can't spend more than $200. Can i find a Dell or something for that price? Doesn't need to be a fancy HD home theater, just
1. clear
2. accurate color
3. is easy to hook up & doesn't require 15 pricey adaptors for my mini-display port.

The Acer LCD screens are pretty decent and cheap. The color is pretty good once you calibrate it.
