External Hard drive into iTunes

Hi,

Im wondering if anyone knows, how to use an external hard disc for iTunes? I don't want to copy the music files onto the computer, but still wan't to have all the music, tv-shows and films show up in iTunes. Is this possible and if so could anyone point me in a direction of a guide or so, i would really appreciate it.

Hey Simsaladimbamba,

When i do the steps, it says that iTunes can't find an iTunes folder? Ive marked the external, and checked my iTunes folder. But as soon as I hit the enter button, it say's that it can't find an iTunes archive in the selected folder?? 😕
