I have a 24" iMac and a Seagate external hard drive. When I plug it in, it won't recognize the drive. Is there any way to fix this? Thanks.

What happened? Did it used to work, but just stop working?
Can you see it in Disk Utility? If so, try mounting it there and see what happens.
Something similar happened to my LaCie a couple of times. I fixed it using Alsoft DiskWarrior... but that it cost me over US$90.
