I have a macbook, running leopard and a 300 gig mybook external hard drive. I recently moved my desk to another room and before i moved it, everything was working fine, but when i hooked everything up again, my external hard drive was read only. I cannot find anywhere how to fix it. I have tried Disk Utility and the only option i have is Verify Disk and when i do that i get the error message "Invalid Sibling Link; Volume Check Failed; Error: Filesystem verify or repair failed." I don't know what else to do, I've restarted my computer and external countless times and tried everything i can find/think of. Some help would be amazing cause this is driving me crazy and i need to clear off some stuff from my hard drive because its getting rather full.
