External Hard Drive (portable) recommendation

Hey guys!

I need an external hard drive recommendation. My portable Seagate has filled up and does not have the best reviews on amazon. I also have a G-drive

What are your priorities?

Space? Speed? Ruggedness (ie protected from drops/bumps)?

What connection type do you want? USB3 (Type A)? USB-C? Thunderbolt 1/2/3?

What do you expect to use it for?
