External hard drive question...

Found a good deal on this hdd. Any idea why this one would say PC only, but another Maxtor says PC & Mac? I went to the maxtor site and it says the same thing. I'm sure this will work with my macbook; I'd just like a little confirmation.

I'm sure it would work on your Mac, too. However, even as good of a deal as it is, I would look for something with more space that specifies Mac compatible. It's just better to be safe!
