Hello again my new Mac friends! :)

I am getting my MBP tomorrow morning (yay!!!!!) and had a question...

All my data is backed up on a 250GB external HD (in an enclosure, formatted in NTFS, connected via USB). I am planning on transferring this to my new MBP.

Am I going to run into issues with this? My head is spinning from all the posts I have read about it, and I am a little lost. All I want to be able to do is transfer the files from the NTFS ext drive --> to my new MBP tomorrow.

If there are issues I need to be aware of, please let me know. Since I am new to Macs, I didn't think about formatting the drive into something different beforehand.

Thanks! :) Hey my next post could be from my MBP! :)

I think we need a slogan:

Something like "Welcome to MacRumors, where the real Mac geniuses hang out!" :)

Yeah no argument here. :) You all are a friendly, helpful bunch and one of the many reasons I am switching to Macs :)
