I've been having a problem with one of my external hard drives for a while now. One day it just started displaying a lock on the icon and I have to authenticate to write to it. I'm always logged in on an administrator account and I made the partition using this user as far as I'm concerned, so I can't really figure out what the problem is.
When I go to Get Info and check my permissions, everyone, including admins and this account, have Read & Write privileges.
Anyone have a solution?
