I just got an MBP and I formatted my external HD to work with Time Machine (Mac). I realized that I still had some files on my old windows laptop that I needed to move over, but Vista won't recognize it anymore. Is there anything I can do? Thanks!

What about a network between the two?
Windows can't read HFS+ formatted HDDs, and your external HDD is formatted with HFS+.

Or do you have a USB flash memory thumb drive?

Thank you both for the timely response. The first link provided looks like it will work!

Another option is to format the drive in exFAT, a format both Snow Leopard and Windows 7 recognize.
