I have a Seagate FreeAgent Desk 1.5 TB external HD and I am having some trouble with it. Just a few minutes ago, I tried plugging it in via Firewire like I have countless times before. Nothing happened; my Macbook didn't recognize that it was plugged in. I tried it via the USB connection and it worked. How is it that the Firewire, after working for so long, suddenly decides to stop working, yet the USB connection still works? Can anyone help?
