I just bought a 1TB External HDD for my imac, i partitioned it with 1 half standard mac drive and one half FAT32, used Time machine on the mac half and tried to put backup files on the other half so it is accessible form bootcamp too. unfortunately i have about 6 files which are over 4GB (the FAT32 max file size). Is there another way i can put large files on the HDD and have it readable from bootcamp. I think NTFS is only windows compatible and read only on mac but are there any other ones.

Thanks.

I have an external hard drive that I partitioned into 2 drives. One I called Videos and the other I called Time Machine. Both I used Mac OS Extended Journaled. I then shared them both from my iMac and I can access them from my iMac, my Windows running in Fusion, as well as a Windows PC I have on my network. Not sure if Bootcamp works the same but you might want to try that.
