Hi all, need to get a MBA collected due to corrupted SSD (see attached). Trying to format an external HDD so that we can do a Time Machine backup before we collect, to prevent any issues with data loss.
Unfortunately it's completely stuck half way and doesn't proceed, even after 10-15 minutes. I'm stipulating that the corruptions could be causing an issue with Disk Utility, so does anybody know of a different way I could possibly format/mount the external hard-drive without using Disk Utility?
Also tried turning it off and on again, ejecting when I shouldn't, etc ...
