Looking to get an external monitor for my 2017 MacBook m3 that I picked up two years ago on the Apple refurbished store. The 12“ is just a tad too small for me for full time office work (I’m a project manager mainly using MS Office & web based apps).

Ideally looking for something not too expensive, good to sit at my desk and just do the job. Won’t use it for gaming. Would be cool I think if I could plug the MacBook to it via a USB C cable, but I have a USBC-HDMI Multi Hub as well.

Thanks in advance for recommendations!

the LG 4k Ultrafine 21.5 inch has served me very well for the last 3.5 years. that with a $100 Amazon desk Arm. You get real 4k and the m3 runs smooth with it. They used to sell refurbished on woot for $190. I got mine from apple store for $525 when they first came out in Jan 2017. Any wider and I have to move my head around so I like to use it closer. I used to have. a 34 inch wide monitor but didn't like th e4k resolution on that and I noticed im no longer moving my head with the 21.5 which is annoying when you read documents.
