I have a 2016 MacBook. I've tried two different USB-C to HDMI adapters, and both have done the same thing. One was a cheap Chinese adapter off Amazon, the other is a Monoprice adapter. Every so often, the external monitor will "twitch". Maybe twitch isn't the right word. It looks like the external monitor is swiping to a new space (completely un-prompted), and then stop in the middle of the animation and return to what was being displayed. It happens in a fraction of a second. The first adapter did it quite frequently (every minute or two). The new Monoprice adapter will do it once every 30 minutes or so. Is this an adapter issue? A computer issue? A software glitch? Has anyone else experienced this? I'm not sure how to troubleshoot it any further.
