External Monitor while in Windows

While in OSX my external monitor works fine but when I switch to XP it doesn't come on. I there something on the Windows side that I need to 'switch' on? Thanks

Use the Display Settings control panel to enable/configure multiple monitors.

Or you can use the NVidia control panel.
