External Monitors

I am new to owning a MacBook Pro 15" and would like to add an external monitor. I am a college kid with limited funds, does anyone know what would be a feasable 20" external monitor for my laptop?

Check out Dell, HP, Acer. You'll find they have relatively good monitors at a good price (especially for those of us who are money-challenged 😉 ).

there have been some good sales at best buy lately on monitors. I've been looking myself.

I'm about to buy a BenQ FP202W. its like 30 pixels shy of 1080p, got a 1000:1 contrast ratio, and its sub-$200. It'll be my second BenQ monitor, as i loved the first one.

I got a 20" Samsung for only about $220. I use it with my MBP, and it works great, its 1680x1050.

I like the syncmaster screens from Samsung.

Since you have limited funds, I suggest to keep an eye on craigslist in your area. I recently picked up a 19" monitor for super cheap.
