    Hello!

Ive started using itunes for the odd movie, but love the idea of having my entire library in there along with my music...alas movies take up chunky chunky amounts of room, and with HD on the way on....

Im using a macbook pro with only about 20gb of space left which I use for storage of current photo projects im working on.

So im going to have to store movies on an external, but it seems I'd have to store all my music external too in the same place? Is there anyway to have the movies show up in itunes, but they are actually stored off disk?

Any help or pointers would be most appreciated!

    :)

first I would delete your movies from your library, DO NOT DELETE THEM FROM DISK. then move your movies/video file to the external disk. after they are there, highlight all the movies you want in your library and simply drag and drop them into iTunes. They will keep the external filepath and be in your library. I have all my media on an external.
