External Raid0 and Second Time Machine External?

I'm selling my Mac Pro desktop and may have to run off of my MBP using an external dual drive Raid0 via Firewire 800. Can I daisy chain the back-up external drive out of my external Raid0?

MacbookPro>External Boot Drive Raid0>External Raid1 for Time Machine?

I have done this with an older MBP but that was before Time Machine.
