External screen issues

When i have used my MBP connected to my 23" ACD, and then go back using its own screen, using it as a laptop again, application windows (for example iTunes) keep having the same (way too big) size used when on the ACD, and there is no way getting them smaller again. The green radio button on the top left doesn't work, and the lower right edge cannot be reached with the mouse....😡

Hold the Option key and click the green button.

Don't forget in Lion you can resize apps and windows from any side.
