External Sound Card for Minimac

Is there a good external soundcard for my minimac. I recently bought the Logitech Z5500 speakers system for my windows box. I now rarely use that system. The Logitch speakers needs (3 plugs) in the soundcard for 5.1 listening. My Minimac only comes with (1) speaker jack. I know Creative Labs makes an external sound card, just not for OS X. Where can I find a good external soundcard for OS X?

Most people around here will recommend the M Audio products, I think. They're the easiest to find, but not necessarily the best.

Something like this would probably suit your purposes.

And "Mac mini" would be the preferable way to say it, before someone jumps down your throat for using jarring terminology.
