I just set up a new Apple Watch S2. All of my Reminders lists/reminders from my iPhone/iCloud are visible in Reminders on my Apple Watch, but the Apple Watch shows an extra list named "Reminders." There are no items on that list and there doesn't appear to be a way to delete it. Does anyone else see this list?

Is that Reminders list also visible on your iOS devices? If so, you may be able to delete it there and it should disappear from your watch.

No, just on my Apple Watch. Not visible in iCloud or iOS devices.

UnFortunately, I don't believe there's a way to delete it. It's just a reflection from the iPhone.

Which is why this is strange - the list isn't on my iPhone or any other iOS device. Do you see this extra "Reminders" list too?

I did see the Reminders list before. But then I just reset my Apple Watch and it removed it. I'm not sure if you tried that or not yet.

[doublepost=1490268848][/doublepost]I have exactly the same issue: it's only on the watch; not on iPhone, nor laptop, nor in the cloud. Can't add things to it; can't delete it. Tried restoring the watch from backup; tried resetting and starting from scratch. Still there.

No other ideas at the moment. Do you have any?

I set my Watch up as new and the Reminders lists showed up properly. Give that another shot.

[doublepost=1490300740][/doublepost]Did that; didn't work. (IE i reset the watch, then re-paired and "set up as new watch".) First however I unpaired (and let it do its backup), then restored from backup. That didn't work either; and that's why I tried the "as new". Are you suggesting that resetting a second time (and starting as new) might work? If so, happy to try it.

Yes, I would try setting up as new once more. That's the only way I was able to resolve the issue. I'd call Apple Support if it doesn't work.

Good advice. I reset it again just now, and the extra "Reminders" list is gone from the watch.

In summary: yesterday I unpaired the watch (so that it would back-up), reset it, and restored from backup. Extra list still there. Then I reset the watch (on the watch itself, in settings), and restored as new. Extra list still there. Then this morning (following advice immediately above) I reset from the watch again, and set up as new watch. Extra list gone :)

One thing during this morning's "reset and new" that I don't remember seeing yesterday was a screen that asked me whether I wanted to return to factory defaults. But I might have seen it yesterday and forgotten. In any case, I said "yes".

For those nervous about doing a "setup as new" rather than "restore from backup" --- the only thing I lost was a customised watch-face and a downloaded playlist. Most stuff (so far) is not stored on the watch itself. In particular it's not like resetting your iPhone to factory defaults, and then re-customising from memory: that takes ages.

Thanks bgrace for the advice.
