So I have had my watch for a week now and I like it much more than I thought I would.

The problem I have now is finding straps that fit me comfortably as I have pretty large wrists. Well that and the fact that I do not like wearing watches very snugly. The sport band that came with the watch fits on the last hole but is too tight for my tastes.

I've purchased the JETech 42mm Milanese Loop and it's not bad, but I'd like to find a leather loop. I've tried one from StrapsCo but it was too small.

Has anyone found extra long bands they could recommend?

Apple has a sport band in an XL size that should work. They also make a link bracelet band that you can add links to that will extend the length.

Right, I forgot to mention I wasn't crazy about the sport band, something feels off about the texture.

And I'm looking for a light band, preferably not metal. Leather would be great

I would invest looking into the leather loop. Very comfortable and My favorite band personally. They do make a large version as well. I can't speak for third party leather loops, only OEM.

Unfortunately, the only available color for the leather loop is that smoke grey one, plus the reviews aren't great

What do you mean the reviews are not great on the leather loop? I've never heard that before, and I own plenty of them based off my experiences. Also, you can check eBay for OEM leather loops that are still available in multiple colors and likely cheaper.

There's a single review on the leather loop on apple canada and it's one star

You could try Bender Bags. They have a custom order option for their bands.

Thank you for this, I will contact them

Off topic: One review doesn't equate to the thousands of bands sold based off quality. Perhaps that "One" review was faulty or wasn't the appropriate band for that customer. But I also understand not every band is an appropriate fit or to one's liking either.

I understand and agree mostly, but since the band is almost out of stock, that review is the only one left

That review, combined with the fact that it's an ugly color (in my opinion) and the fact that if it fits my wrist it will be at the limit and therefore I wouldn't be wearing it the way I want. That's a lot of negatives (for me) for such an expensive band :)

Totally understandable. And it would be difficult to find a band that fits comfortably when you have large wrists.

You may also want to see what is available on Etsy. There are a lot of leather bands for sale there, and you may be able to communicate with a seller to get one custom fit for you.
