    Folks,

I want to get a new imac i5. Seems like the best thing is to buy the memory somplace else and fit it myself.

So can someone tell me what type of memory and where is the best place to buy it?

    Cheers!

...there should be specs listed on the item web page for the RAM you need...

www.crucial.com , www.owc.com are good places to look for compatible products...

There are four slots, your 4gb iMac will come with two taken...leaving you two.
