Extracting audio from an .FLV file?

I have some flash videos and I'd like to have the audio as separate files so I can use them in iTunes. Does anyone know the best solution for Mac or Windows? Thanks 🙂

dont know about that file type but you could try audio hijack for mac, it lets you select almost anything that makes noise and record from it.

Thanks alot, i'll try that out...although iSquint doesn't want to convert the files for some reason - i've never had a problem with it before. Flash player also doesn't want to play them, I'll have to give them up I guess. Thanks for the program though, it will definitely come in useful 🙂

If the FLV is online, at somewhere like Youtube, just put in the URL and choose to extract the audio.

You might also need the Perian codec pack if you're having problems playing flash in quicktime.

Should do the trick and its pretty easy. Just open the video and export to whatever format you'd like.
