whats extraneous on a mac besides printer drivers and languages?

i went into finder and spotlighted .gif, and found like 300 pics i never took... y r these here?

what else could i have i can get rid of?

U Might not what to delete them as they are probley System graphics

menziep is right. Many of those are just little bits and pieces of the graphical user interface, and I would not delete them.
