cracked tempered glass from Extremeguard

Ordered tempered glass using 85% code, took a week to get it within US. The glass arrived cracked/shattered and it feels like they sell cheap glass from china which on ebay would cost 2-3$ (I bought one from china and it cracked on second day after accidental drop)
I'll probably get the AppleCare+ and keep it naked until something better comes out.

just my 2 cents

I honestly think it is the exact same as zagg. The packaging is really poor for shipping it. It won't adhere to the edges just like zagg's.

Spent $2 - guess if they don't work it's not a big loss.

Yes but honestly It's not matter of $ .
I bought from US company thinking they would sell better product where in fact they sell the same garbage. I don believe anyone should pay full price for such quality. Even with 85% discount it's not worth it

I've been buying Xtremeguard protectors due to price for a long time now and they are decent for the price, they've always fit good until now. Got my iPhone 6 today finally and put one of the dry apply protectors on and it doesn't fit too well, needed to be a little bit wider on both sides but it'll work for now, and hey I got 6 of em for $5 so no big loss. I have 2 of the Spartan glass ones coming Saturday and will try one of those but I expect the same issue with the width. If I can get it on perfectly flush with the sides of the screen it should be ok but that's easier said than done.

Here is a pic of the tempered glass. This is my first glass screen protector. I really like the feel when using the screen especially compared to the standard screen protectors.

These do not fit the screen well and you can see the edges never sat down on the screen so there is a white hue at the edges of the screen protector.

I had their wet application protectors before, and it was trash. Still have some playing around and it was a huge waste of the small money I paid on a similar deal.

I wonder what their glass protector is like though, anyone have experience with it?

for the iPhone 6, it's exactly like the zagg in feeling and cut. It also has the same air gap around all the edges if perfectly aligned. I'm trying to use rubber bands to get it to go away:

I too received my tempered glass screen protector for iPhone 5 and it came shattered! Not to mentioned the poor fitment of the iPhone 6+ ones! Will never buy from Xtremeguard again!

LOL at those 2 pictures (with all my respect) the second one => the product sucks simply glass is too hard to be curved with the screen unless they try a new technology (which must take several more months), the first one => initialy I thought that you probably screwed up when applying the screen protector that why the whole lower edges is peeled up but then relized this is a "glass" :p

I finally received my glass shields today. Exactly as expected, they JUST cover the screen side to side, which is actually okay with my case.

HOWEVER, one of the screens they sent was already broken, I assume because they send pieces of glass in a standard style envelope via the USPS

Surely you get a replacement?

The people at Xtremeguard must be stupid! Ordered glass screen protector on 9-19. 2 weeks later it arrived in a standard envelope and of course it was completely broken. Emailed customer service and I finally received #2 sreen protector in a slightly better envelope and it too was broken.

What kind of idiot sends out a thin piece of glass w/o proper protection from the monkeys at the USPS?!? Is it THAT hard to eclipse the glass in cardboard so it doesn't break!

So I've requested #3! Anyone want to guess on how they ship it?

Btw: also got some of thier dry screen protectors - fit and quality suck. I now have a power support crystal screen protector and it is nice.

Extreme guard 85% off code

I received my glass screen protector for 6+ broken as well from them. Luckily they 6 glass survived the journey. Have sent them an email requesting a newer one.

I also purchased the case and its poorly made. I would avoid them. Ordered a few iphone carbon decals as well.
